What They Do |
Barnado's provide a short break service to support disabled children and their families in Herefordshire. Barnado's are working in partnership with Herefordshire County council and will receive all their referrals through the children with Disabilities Team at the Kite Centre (1 Ledbury Road). Two types of short breaks are offered: firstly short breaks, eg one weekend per month. Secondly sessional support, where the child/young person is supported for a number of hours each week to access community facilities.From 1 April 2009, Barnado's can offer a domiciliary care service, referrals coming through the Kite Centre. |
